Elevator maintenance content and standards
This standard specifies elevator maintenance items and requirements. This standard applies to passenger elevators, freight elevators, residential elevators, medical elevators, unsuitable sundries elevators and hydraulic elevators. This standard does not apply to large and medium repairs of elevators.
2. Reference standards

This standard adopts the definitions in GB7588, the terms in GB/T7024 and the following definitions.
Maintenance in a narrow sense refers to maintenance and repair; maintenance in a broad sense refers to all maintenance, repair and modification services after the elevator is delivered to use. The maintenance mentioned in this standard is a broad maintenance.
Maintenance is also called maintenance, which refers to all necessary operations, such as lubrication, inspection, cleaning, etc., carried out as planned to ensure the normal and safe operation of the elevator after the elevator is delivered to use.
Maintenance should also include the operation of setting, adjusting, and replacing the wearing parts, which should not affect the characteristics of the elevator.
In order to ensure the normal and safe operation of the elevator in use, the operation of replacing old parts with corresponding new parts or processing and repairing old parts should not change the characteristics of the elevator.
3.4 Emergency fault repair:
Emergency fault repair is when the elevator fails to operate normally or has potential safety hazards, appropriate settings, adjustments or replacement of damaged parts are performed to make the elevator operate normally and safely.
4. General requirements
4.1 Elevator maintenance should be performed by personnel who have received elevator maintenance technology and safety training and passed the examination of the competent government department.
4.2 The elevator maintenance personnel should abide by the safe operation regulations. During operation, appropriate safety technical precautions should be taken to avoid injury accidents and equipment damage accidents.
4.3 After any form of maintenance, the elevator safety protection device must be ensured to be effective before it can be put into normal use.
4.4 The maintenance should be carried out periodically as planned, which is divided into routine maintenance, quarterly maintenance, and annual inspection and maintenance. Routine maintenance is performed four times a month. When quarterly maintenance or annual inspection and maintenance are encountered, quarterly maintenance or annual inspection and maintenance are performed.
