(1) Maintenance of traction machine
As the gearless traction machine with permanent magnet motor is used, some special tools and instruments are needed for maintenance. The brake is embedded in the traction machine cover and directly acts on the motor rotor mechanism. It is the most important device related to the safe operation of the elevator. The adjustment of the stroke of the iron core and the adjustment of the action stroke of the brake friction pad require the use of a lever type 100 Precision instruments such as sub-meter and feeler gauge can be used for precise setting. The gearless structure connects the traction sheave with the motor rotor structure. The wear program of the traction sheave and the operation of the joint bearing directly affect the comfort of elevator operation. Therefore, the traction sheave must be checked regularly, and the bearings must be regularly greased. Since there is no working ground in the machine room and limited by the position of the traction sheave, it is difficult to measure its wear in the traditional way. This requires the use of a measuring tool specially made for the corresponding specifications of the wheel groove to accurately determine the current status of the traction wheel groove. If the traction machine needs to be disassembled and replaced, the car needs to be reliably fixed near the top of the hoistway, with the car top as the working platform, and the load-bearing beam and lifting equipment are installed on the top of the hoistway to disassemble the traction machine. After the maintenance work of the traction machine is completed, care should be taken not to leave tools, spare parts and other items in the hoistway (such as on the support) to prevent accidental damage after falling.
(2) Maintenance of the control cabinet
The control cabinet of machine roomless elevators is generally also installed in the hoistway. Once the elevator components or circuit wiring are damaged, the maintenance and replacement operations will be more difficult. Therefore, the daily maintenance is more demanding than the control cabinet installed in the machine room. . Connectors, wiring terminals, circuit breakers, fuse protectors, etc. should be checked frequently to prevent accidental failures as much as possible. The arrangement and connection of the wires and cables entering and leaving the control cabinet shall be standardized and reliably fixed, so as to avoid friction with the running parts such as the car and cause rupture. Since there is no manual mechanical brake release condition for machine-roomless elevators, there must be an emergency brake release system in the event of a trapped fault. Taking the TRANS Tiansuo elevator as an example, the brake release operation can be implemented outside the landing without the user's external power supply. The reliability of the electrical circuit of the rescue operation device should be fully guaranteed, and the charging and discharging of the power supply (ie, the battery) in the circuit and the line conduction must be confirmed in the routine maintenance work. After the overhaul of the control cabinet is completed, ensure that the cover is reliably closed and fixed. Also, care should be taken not to leave tools, spare parts and other items in the well.

The search and judgment of elevator faults usually need to be carried out in the control cabinet, because the control cabinet is the central mechanism that controls the various operating states of the elevator, collects data information and sends instructions. Generally speaking, various operating voltages, circuit composition, status display, etc. for driving, controlling and managing elevator operation can be checked in the control cabinet. Once a machine room-less elevator fails, it is sometimes impossible or difficult to directly access the control cabinet device. Therefore, general machine-room-less products will provide some fault judgment and emergency handling methods in equipment other than the hoistway, such as landing inspection panels or remote monitoring Equipment etc. In addition, the observation window of the landing inspection panel can also confirm the position and status of the car during emergency troubleshooting. Maintenance operations of machine-room-less elevators require proficiency in the use of these equipment functions to perform troubleshooting operations accurately, efficiently and safely.
